A Nairobi school wanted its environmental club to do more than poster competitions. Across one term we ran age-appropriate climate sessions, established a small tree nursery tended by the club, and installed a waste-sorting point the school still uses.

All sessions ran under written consent and safeguarding procedures agreed with the school. Students kept nursery records — which became the programme's own impact data.

The club closed the term by planting the nursery's first seedlings on school grounds.

Outcomes

  • 120 students through age-appropriate climate sessions
  • School tree nursery established and student-maintained
  • Waste-sorting point in continued use
