Environmental Programmes: Tree Planting, Waste, Energy

Kenya is pursuing a 15-billion-tree national target, and organisations across the country want to take part. We plan and deliver tree-planting days, waste management projects and clean-energy awareness programmes that are real environmental work — not photo opportunities.

A planting day only counts if the trees survive. We work with sites and partners where seedlings are indigenous or appropriate species, where aftercare is agreed before anyone picks up a shovel, and where survival checks are part of the deal.

For waste and energy, programmes range from workplace waste audits and clean-up days with sorting systems, to renewable-energy awareness sessions for staff and communities.

Every programme ends in numbers you can use: seedlings planted and their survival checks, kilograms of waste collected and sorted, participants involved — reported in writing for your CSR records.

Questions about this service

Where do planting days happen?

We work with sites in and around Nairobi and the Rift Valley — schools, degraded public land and partner conservancies — matched to your team size and travel limits.

How do we know the trees survive?

Aftercare is agreed before planting: a named local custodian, a watering and protection plan, and survival checks that we report back to you.

Can we combine a planting day with team building?

Yes — many clients pair a morning of planting with a wellness activity or team lunch at the same venue.
