Climate Fresk Workshops and Climate Education
Climate Fresk turns the IPCC report into a three-hour collaborative game. Teams arrange 42 cards to map the causes and effects of climate change, then work out what to do about it. No lectures, no slides — people teach themselves, and it stays with them.
The workshop works because it is serious science delivered as a group activity. Participants build the climate system themselves, which is why the method is used by companies, universities and public bodies in more than 150 countries.
We facilitate Climate Fresk for corporate teams, schools, universities and community groups across Kenya. Sessions run in person or online, in English, for groups of 4 to 14 per facilitator — several tables can run in parallel for larger groups.
Beyond the Fresk itself we run follow-up sessions that turn the workshop's energy into action: a climate module for staff induction, a student session ahead of a tree-planting day, or the first step in a wider ESG programme.

Questions about this service
How many people can attend one workshop?
One facilitator runs a table of 4 to 14 participants. For bigger groups we run parallel tables — tell us your numbers and we will plan accordingly.
How long does it take?
The full workshop is about three hours. Shortened versions exist, but we recommend the full session for the debrief, which is where insight turns into plans.
Can it run online?
Yes. Climate Fresk has an official digital version and we facilitate online sessions for distributed teams.
Do participants need any background knowledge?
None. The method is designed for beginners — participants reconstruct the science themselves from the cards.
